I had a tidy and well-equipped room, complete with pastries and toiletries. the service was excellent, and I appreciated the complimentary wake-up calls. the location was fantastic, situated in a safe area near the railway station, with easy access to local attractions as well as Spello, Assisi, and other beautiful spots in Umbria.

Small room, tiny uncomfortable bed for 2 people (comparing with plenty other hotels visited), one pair of slippers in double room, rude guy at the reception

The breakfasts were excellent, featuring a delightful selection of cakes, nuts, and hams. The hotel's location is ideal, conveniently situated near all the local attractions. Sparky's Grill, a great fast food option, is just a 5-minute walk away.

Very comfortable room and a good base to go to other nearby towns. Modern and well equipped.
The breakfast room was dark and not welcoming. Would have been better to have opened the side windows up and allowed some alfresco eating.

Location across the road from Foligno rail station very convenient. Hotel is elegantly presented and rooms have good facilities and are quiet. Staff are helpful. Breakfast was good.
Too much focus on trendy design over function. For example automated lighting that only comes on when motion is detected resulting in gloomy corridors. Room was small and there was nowhere to put suitcases.

Comfortable modern room. Firm king size bed. Large shower. Room climate control. Strong WiFi. Extensive continental breakfast. Right across the street from the train station.
No negative aspects.

Perfectly located opposite the station and fabulously placed for exploring Spello and Assisi. A one euro train ticket and three minutes to Spello for the most attractive village in Italy? The staff here are excellent, speak excellent English and go to great lengths to make the visit enjoyable. We had a smallish but functional room, superbly fitted, like new, very modern and well equipped. A beautiful breakfast room, quiet bar and a private sun terrace was all we needed to relax after four days of sightseeing in Rome and Milan. I will be coming back here if we cant find better in Assisi next year. So glad we took the receptionists advice for a restaurant.... Pog... Translates as the taste workshop (I think!) The best ever menu and wine list.... We will talk about this place for a long time to come... Its worth the visit to Foligno for the restaurant alone.
Some local construction and traffic noise noticeable from the sun roof terrace but no noise at all in the room.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was ideal, being right next to the railway station. This made it incredibly convenient for our daily trips to nearby towns like Assisi and Speloto. The staff at the hotel were excellent, with one particular gentleman named Anil going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. He had a great sense of humor and truly made us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was also very good, with a nice variety of options to choose from. Additionally, the Internet connection was reliable, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. this hotel provided a luxurious and comfortable experience.
We would highly recommend this hotel to others. The location is in a safe and quiet area, within walking distance of the center of town.

The hotel's location near the railway station is convenient for travelers to explore the Umbria region, saving time and effort in transport. Set in a landscaped garden, the surroundings are pleasant and lively with birds singing. the hotel has modern rooms and facilities, impeccable cleanliness, and helpful staff, including breakfast with high-quality local cheese, pastry.
Some visitors complained of privacy concerns involving an unauthorized drone in the outdoor area.

Convenient Location & Helpful Staff
This hotel is situated in a very convenient location close to the train station and within walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help us with any questions or concerns we had. The air conditioning in the room was excellent, which made our stay a lot more comfortable in the hot weather.
The breakfast options were quite limited, which was a bit disappointing as we were hoping for more variety. , the vicinity of the hotel was quite noisy due to traffic and trains passing by, which made it difficult to sleep at night.

The rooms at Villa Dei Platani are absolutely stunning! They are elegantly furnished and filled with all the comforts you could wish for. I felt like royalty during my stay.
Personally, I found the dining option of ordering food to your room a bit unnecessary. But hey, I know some people might actually enjoy that kind of convenience!
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
